I figured it out....

CRYTEK doesn't care. I have moved on and gave up hope. This wont be fixed.

Can't believe they didn't get this simple thing right from the start.

I get "An error has occurred, please check network connectivity" Well, the network is working fine as I am on it now typing this message about a network error to some faceless tech at crytek. Come on, I paid $60 for this game almost a month ago and haven't even been able to login to the multiplayer.
I have the same problem. It svcks. I have disabled my firewall completely, I obviously have a connection, and no one at Crytek has addressed this problem even though it appears that a lot of people experience it. Simply terrible.

as its now well over a month since this problem was raised and there has been no response from the developers other than a comment "this is a known issue we are working on it" i believe that I will be contacting consumer affairs as this game has failed to meet the advertised aspects of the game. in my view the lack of response, comment, information or progress is unacceptable. no one seems to care or be prepared to comment which is very dissapointing given the quality of the single player. i am sure that most of us want to play mulitplayer with our friends, this is why i purchased the game. its impossible to get through directly to anyone that might issue a refund so it would appear outside pressure is needed. what a shame............

But I think i know why Crytek doesn′t take care, because most of them are on Vacation.
So we have to wait for fixes and patches.

Yeah, it's about a month passed when they first released this game. And i cant login to multiplayer with "THIS" (gamesas) account. I am still waiting for something to FIX it !!! becuz, I want to use this username on multiplayer and I want them to stabilized the Login problems before I use other account to join multi.. Cuz it says in game-manual that THE SERIAL CODE CAN BE USED ONCE AND CANNOT BE TRANSFER !!!....


then, wait till they get it stabilized !!! And when it happened, I'm gonna play multiplayer with this account ....

I also use Windows 7 and have the problem. Maybe it's the firewall of Win7, which blocks the multiplayer. But I tried to turn my firewall off. Nothing has changed..

Guys im using win7 but it works just fine. Check if you have added crysis 2 for the exclusion list on your firewall cheers

I want to play the Crysis 2 Demo and I an unable to login to this crappy amsterdam server.
If I've had an Imperium like EA or Crysis, I would care much more about my costoumers.

Hey all.. I'm having the same issue. This is what I did to get around it.

I was able to create a new account (create it in the game, NOT the website) using a "non-free" email account. aka my work email. This is obviously B.S. but it will have to do until these boneheads fix their software.

So to be very specific:
It will not allow me to create an account and successfully login using an email account from yahoo, gmail or hotmail. These are the only ones I've tried.

I'm using the PC version "Limited Edition".

**Crytek, fix your software before release. This may be the last time I pay for anything that is Crytek/Gamespy or EA driven.

Hey you guys, My issue is that when i try to login to multiplayer it requires gamesas account and when i type it on. And then press login , Whoops. WTF... "Incorrect login details" please blah blah blah... what the hell happened here ?!?

Plz FIX it Crytek ! I cant wait... (sorry, I know that if i create a new account. it will works properly but, I want to use this Username and password and I try to solve this problem by change to new password [ With old username ] but it wont works

I am now raising a demand for compensation.
If Crytek nor EA will respond to this, I will will put the damand on the retailer who sold me the game.

Feel great to return an Nano Edition just because a game company who have made great games before, prioritize the consoles. (no offence on the console gamers)

I urge everyone else to do the same,
If they do not want to compensate us, Let them know thru the retailers.

Ok I was having exactly the same problem. I could not use my gamesas Account to Access the games multiplayer.

When I was on the site I noticed that for some stupid reason you need to have a high strength password. So I changed my password to be 16 characters in total with some numbers.

As soon as I had changed my password I could use my account to play multiplayer. I really don't see why this is necessary since you need a key anyway??

I have also noticed that I get kicked quite a bit from servers, my theory is that there are people joining reserved slots so I get kicked, but that is just a therory.

This 100% fixed my log in issue I hope it helps, the multiplayer is a lot of fun.

One final thing WTF is with the crap crossfire support!!!!!!!! I have to use the bioshock exe that svckS why oh why does this game not support crossfire fix it!!

Nothing has changed since game release... i still can′t login to mp part :-/ I hope they′ll finally find a fix for this issue... but please not in 2 years or more!?!?

This STILL isn't fixed? Maybe I should go back to just playing Bad Company 2 like all my friends already did - and they didn't even bother paying for this sad, broken game.

A valuable lesson in paying for preorders I guess. For one I could get the game cheaper in the Easter sale, and the preorder bonuses aren't really anything to brag about, so yeah. I doubt I'll be paying list price for Crysis 3.

Come on people fix this one please. While many do not mind just playing the game on single player most, if not all, got the game to play online. Now when you can't get that bit right it does sort of put people off any future purchases.
