Didn't work for me either. I tried deleting my account, but I can't set up a new one because the site says that my **** email address is already in use. Then I successfully updated my password on ea.com, but that user name and password doesn't work in the game or on gamesas.

Yet, for some reason I can still login and post here using whatever password my pc remembers.

This is seriously ****. And single player causes my seriously overclocked i-7 860 and HD5870 to choke. I can't play more than 2 minutes without it hanging for 30 seconds. It's probably merciful that I can't play mp. [rant=off]

Also, gamesas lets me use ó in my name as you can see, but when im in-game, even when using my key set for ó i am unable to put it in

This is the same issue I'm having. I was able to log on it long enough to redeem my LE code, and subsequently can't use it. I contacted EA last night about transferring my Limited Edition code to a new account (that works), but unfortunately they cannot transfer codes.

I presume you guys are working on a remedy for this? I want to play multiplayer, but I'm unable to do so because of this problem.

This is ridiculous. I can't believe the same login problem from the demo still exists. I also love how it's still confusing, like does it use gamesas or gamespy or both? My name and email are the same on both sites yet neither work. At least I didn't use my LE code yet but I don't want to use a different name or email when I do.

I'm just baffled that half of their customers are still left with half a game, 5 days after release (me included)

I can't log in either. I created this account with just dvdpolar as user, but I don't know why the account was created with the e-mail I used in the account as the username (I created the account with the demo, but the date of registration of my account is obviuosly after that day). And right know I can't delete the account to create it again (why can I use the same e-mail?????) or change the username, etc. So when I try to log in the game I get the "user/password invalid".

This is frustrating man, I paid 50€ to play this game, and I can't even register my username properly :S

I just want to be able to delete the account, and create it again with the same e-mail, I think this shouldn't be so difficult...

I made an account and it worked for a few days then didn't. this was the time of the demo, so I made a new account, and got to level 5, now I have the full version and I can't get back into my account because I think I had to go make a new email account to make a new gamesas, and now I can't remember which new email address I made up and used so i'm stuck. guess have to go back down to level 1 and start over lol

Step A. Create a GameSpy account if you don't have it.
Step B. Create account IN GAME with the same data as GameSpy account
Step C. Login on gamesas.com with the same data and synch the accounts.

I have now lv 8 and it's still working. Of course people who already used LE codes in non-working accounts are still screwed, but this is the way to play until they fix things.

Can confirm this works, i'm missing my LE unlocks (Fkn angry btw) but at least i can play some MP whilst i wait

i hav tried logging in using my gamesas id ..but no luck...wtf i want my money back

The data between my Gamespy and gamesas were the same and resulted in no change to the behavior. Attempting to do "Step B" resulted in simply a "That Username is Unavailable" message.

I had the same problem and this is how i worked it out:
-first go to http://www.gamespy.com and login there and find out your nickname there
-then use ur gamespy nick and your gamesas password on the ingame login
wierd but thats how i worked it out

It has been suggested and has worked for a small subset of people with the issue.

uhhhm, I'll just ask this here.
<- As you can see I have no avatar, but when clocking "home" there seems to be one there :S.

It looks like the tv show "chuck", but i'm not sure. I have never even chose an avatar.
When going to "edit profile" > "Edit avatar", It says "current image:" but there is no picture there.
This is not really a problem, but it's just weird...

I haven't a clue. With the problems I've been seeing with gamesas.com in general, I wouldn't be surprised if it took time to get your avatar to propagate, or if it got stuck.

I had to create a bogus account with a bogus email. I will NOT generate a new email just to play this game. You do not need to use a real email folks. Make something up like "idiotsatEA@gmail.com" or "wtf@yahoo.com" and some made up username and pword. You can at least play the game.
