I have had the same issue, and have gone through EA game support. They actually escalated me directly to Crytek for this issue, yet I have not heard back from Crytek in the month or so that it has been since the escalation.
I was FINALLY able to register on THIS website since they moved the forums from http://www.gamesas.com to here... yet these accounts apparently do not link up to the online / in-game account information.
This is good to see that it is not just me that is having the problem. Though not good that it is happening at all, to be honest.
I'd love a reply from a Crytek mod or dev, either here or to my ticket that has been sitting around on someone's desk for a month or so....
Thanks,

I had this elevated a while ago too. I telephone on August 26th and they said they would elevate it to their specialist team. Still heard nothing back. No status updates or anything.
Given that this problem arose in part due to failed synchronization of Gamespy/gamesas accounts, it beggars belief that we have now seen a further server shift from gamesas.com to crysis.com which has broken even more network functionality within the Crysis 2 game.
If EA really want to know why people hate them, if they really want to know why Crysis 3 sales are down the pan, they will look at issues like this and conclude the most obvious outcome: That customers don't respond well to unfixed critical bugs that never get resolved.
I've reinstalled all the Crysis games after building a new system, only to find that - apart from this two year old critical issue with Crysis 2 - they still haven't fixed Windows 8 compatibility issues with Crysis 1 (32 bit). That issue is one year old. They still haven't fixed the alpha/artifacts issue in Crysis Warhead 64bit. That issue is five years old. I own Crysis 3 but haven't even played it beyond the opening scenes because I want to play the previous games again first. Apparently there is no chance of that happening so I might as well just bin my Origin account and forget about buying anything from EA ever again.
Even the Crytek people monitoring this forum can't be bothered to list this multiplayer login issue in the known issues list. They don't respond to threads like this seeking answers. They don't give any hint of a fix ever happening. It really is beyond ridiculous and shows utter contempt for customers who bought the games in good faith.
