I'm trying to start a new character as a female but every time I get released out of the cryogenic pod I can't move....the only thing I can do is press start.

IV tried making another character and the same thing happens and I can't move.

i'm almost positive i've seen this bug mentioned before, keep looking, you're answer's probably somewhere in forum (sorry i can't help)

Might be the bug I ran into, basically if you go into the pod without first going up to your spouce and press the prompt to comfort Shaun this seems to cause the glitch, so basically make sure to comfort Shaun and see that the quest marker points at the cryogenic chamber before going in.

I had this just two days ago when starting my second character, it's apparently a common bug on PS4 and XB1 - not sure about PC.

The trick is, bizarrely, to go in the game settings and turn OFF all auto-saving features. I did this before entering the cryo-chamber - I had a recent save to go back to, not sure if you have to do it then though or if you can do it while you're frozen on the floor!

No luck I can't get it to work.....maybe I'll try to go male again instead of female
