Can my new video card handle some graphics mods?

I know that it's not entirely based on the video card, but my new card I ordered from Newegg just arrived and I'm wondering if this can handle some decent graphics mods

Yes. It's a damn fine card, in fact, and one I keep recommending. :)

But what CPU do you have, and how much RAM?


edit: oh, I thought it was more a hardware type question. never mind my previous edit then.

Definitely. Oblivion is not graphics crazy. There are many new GPUs that suffice for Oblivion and most mods. CPUs are what we usually worry about here. Of course, you can come up with a combination of graphic enhancers to make your system overheat, so do not do that. If you want to keep an eye on Oblivion's texture memory usage, open the console and enter "SDT 13".
