Bought Game of the Year edition on Steam. When I try to run it all the buttons on Oblivion Launcher are not highlighted and cannot be selected, except Elderscrolls.com and Exit. I tried deleting game and reinstalling. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The only guess I can think of is that you installed it onto a different drive other than your main one (where your windows files are located). If that's not the case: I dunno.

I have that same issue but I just use the obse_loader so it bypasses the entire oblivion launcher.

Thanks for the suggestion. I Tried using obse with the version released for steam. I still end up with the same problem however. Any more ideas please?

Please post a dxdiag:
Start - Run (if Vista or Win 7, the search box acts like Run) - type dxdiag - hit Enter - "save all info" button - open txt file and copy/paste EVERYTHING here

Thank you for the reply. I realized I have not restarted my computer in weeks. A simple restart aloud me to play. Sorry to waste your guys time with a simple thing like that. I find it funny that most of electronic problems are solved by turning a device off and back on. Thanks again.
