Well i have always had problems with oblivion but then i had a 1 Ghz pc which was slow a year ago i got a brand new laptop which was perfect and i could install oblivion in no time and get on it a few months ago i unstalled it and today i decided i want to go on oblivion but guess what it will not install :brokencomputer: :brokencomputer: .

It ask's me for admin permission and then install shield comes up and then it crashes :brokencomputer: .

Please help i got win7 64bit.

Post a dxdiag.
XP: Go to Start->run, type “dxdiag” and hit enter. Click the Save All Information button near the bottom right. This will save a Dxdiag.txt in C:\ by default. Then open the dxdiag.txt and copy/paste the information into your post.

Sorry i found out what it was it was the autoplay i had to do to delete it.

also is the oblivion disk suppose to have a protection on or something because most games you can not delete the files on disk on mine you can.

No, you can't delete files off of the game disk. They are burned on there, and while it might 'look' like you were able to delete it, in reality, the file is still there, and, if you look for it, you will find it.
