Can not sprint in human or beast form?

Post » Wed Jun 12, 2013 12:54 pm

Ok first of all i mentioned this in the wolves den thread when it was just affecting me in beast form but now i cant sprint at all an when i try im going as fast as i do when walking.

Before people ask no im not encumbered an i thought it was due to been near alftand an been in the snow but even in whiterun its the same.

Ive tried what carrots suggested i do in the wolves den post but not even that works ive tried reloading to a previous save but its still the same im only getting slower.

My horse is fine an can sprint but me im sprinting so slow that i swear im going backwards.

Try using a chair and then try sprinting again.

im using a controller but ill try it

Thats what im thinking myself but its just that by uninstalling all the mods an then loading it to try will ruin the save.

ive even cleared my cache to see if that would work but nope.

You don't have to uninstall your mods, just disable them one by one until you find the problem. Reload, enable all the mods that aren't the cause, and you've got a fairly stable save.

Note that disabling mods, while not recommended outside of bugfixing, will not "ruin" a save. The only cases where it can do that are in areas added by mods, or mods that make large-scale changes. You can disable an armor or house save with minimal ill effects in-game (unless you happen to be in the house at the time of mod deletion...)

Worst you have are what are known as "dirty' saves, where the save may be trying to read data that is no longer there. 99.9% of the time, that will NOT cause a crash or any significant problems.

even if you are using a controller that still may be what the issue is.

I used a Controller for it on y PC when I first started, and ran into an issue nearly identical

Thats what i meant not uninstall but disable an to make sure im going to go to lakeview stick everything in my inventory in the chest an then make a new save an then do it all one by one but im really hoping i dont have to do that so first ill just disable the latest ones via nmm since its a new problem.

Ill try it once my scan finishes then.
