Can I open .bsa-files and how?

Bethesda has kindly put theire background music in mp3-format in the game. Nice for my tabletop-rpg. (DnD 3.5 btw)
However what about the background "noise", like wind, insects, water etc? I assume they are in the bsa-files, can I open them and copy say wind-sound in mp3 format in a not to hard way?
And would it work for a rpg-session?
I have tried different effect-sounds but they always are recordings of cats, cars etc, not summer meadow or forest or lake. Or too distinct, like "yep thats the fox again, already been 3 minutes?" If anyone knows how to find such sounds (legaly for privat use only) any tip is appreciated.

You can use the Fallout Mod Manager to extract stuff from the bsa files, assuming you are on pc.
