I have the journal needed, and have read it. I know the safe for the variety store is combination 2-6-1-2. I turn clockwise to 2, counterclockwise to 6, clockwise to 1, counterclockwise to 2. I can never get it to open, even after restarting the game and trying again. I've read every journal entry in all 3 categories. I don't get what I'm doing wrong, is there a certain button I have to press or something?Thanks for any help.

Now I got it... thanks for the hint!I figured the date out corrected, but I'm form Germany, where dates are in this order: Day-Month-Year.Never would have tried to start with the month!
