Can't Play FNV on my Machine?!?

I don't know why, but I cannot play Fallout New Vegas on my Laptop. I have a quad core processor with 4GB's of RAM. Yet, given that I have innumerable mods attached, I can play Skyrim and Dragon Age Origins with no problems whatsoever. I wonder why that is?

Each of the Bethesda games since Fallout 3 has gradually reduced the minimum, unofficially, that they can be accessed with, although the use of the term "run" in many cases will amount to a "walk" instead. Dragon Age runs on its own game engine, and has no relationship at all to be an acceptable comparison.

You chose to hide your (probably poor) video solution from view, even though an experienced game player is probably going to sneer at it.

Recommended System Requirements:

* Windows XP/Vista/Win7
* Intel Core 2 Duo processor (or the equivalent AMD Phenom)
* 2 GB System RAM
* Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512MB RAM
(NVIDIA 8800 series, ATI 3800 series)
* 10 GBs of free hard drive space
