Hi, I really love Crysis 2 but with the new patch I lost too much FPS and I decide to make a change in my computer. I don′t have too much money to buy something extreme. I have this cuestion. Can i run Crysis 2 with this rig??

Intel Core i5 2.6 Ghz 6MB Cache
Asus Sabertooth P67
4GB RAM KINGSTON 1333 Mhz
GYGABYTE 1GB GTX 460

I would love to help me. Thanks!

No, with luck you can run Dx11 with 20fps with that setup. But if your talking about Dx9, sure you can, with 35-40fps and is highly playable. I hope if you mean P67, your talking about Sandy Bridges as well.

ofcourse ... it's a fine machine however the GPU is on the mid end and you might not get playable preformance with DX11 and high-res textures.

You can install all of the updates and then choose and customize the settings how you want, and what works the best for your system.

to put it simple "no" (FOR NOW). There still needs some HEAVY optimization. After they optimize the DX11 better you will have a better chance of playing this game at a playable FPS.

LOL I have also a GTX 460 (strong overclocked) and a Core 2 Quad CPU (4x3.0), 4 GB DDR2 RAM and I can play with DX11 and High Res pack with ca. 30 FPS. Everthing is set to ultra but I like better frames so I put shadows, water and game effects to extreme and I've got 40 fps. So you can play with your rig but if it doesn't work maybe you can turn off tessellation cause this needs the most performance (object detail).
I think your rig isn't the problem cause I play with 40-60 fps in DX9 with highest settings. Maybe you turn off some DX11 effects and then you can still enjoy this awesome game :)
