Can't Progress Mission - Taxonomy of Obsession - Multitudes

(This glitch is a glitch I've never heard of occurring - I've not seen it on any Wikis for the game.)

I'm on the PS3 Game of the Year Edition. I got all the ingredients to Mirili fine but after I brought the Baliwog she became stuck in her house. I tried punching her to make her get out of the house after I brought the Elytra since she had a 100 disposition. This worked well, she left the house when I left and when the creature fired at her she fired back and subdued it. But for some reason when she fired her spell the Elytra started gyrating and spinning around like crazy. I didn't think much of it until the minute I tried to enter her house to progress the mission and it always locks up right after it loads her house. I've tried everything I can think, leaving Shivering Isles, initiating a new quest, trying to talk to her when she's not in the house to progress the mission, leveling up, trying to go in her house before she's in there but it doesn't matter. The minute she arrives in her house the game freezes and there seems to be no other way to progress the mission without being in the house with her to have the conversation. Two things to note are after all my endeavoring to find a solution the Elytra now isn't spinning crazy everywhere but is lying dead. To note additionally - her dialogue is stuck at the time where she says to go to her house quick before her spell wears off the creature. Has anyone had this terrible glitch occur where going in her house freezes the game and the mission can't be progressed?

The only idea I have left is to try to bring another Elytra to her when she's walking back to her house (because I also have the glitch occurring where Mirili follows you everywhere otherwise she'd never come out of her house). I don't know if she'd just fight it though.

Welcome to hell. I have never, never been able to complete this quest. Never. Either she glitches in her house, doesn't recognize when I bring her animals, or the best, she dies mid-quest. I have even received notification of her death when I've first entered the SI, along with the message that I will not be able to complete her quest. I'd love to hear other responses, if anyone was able to complete this quest. I've looked at the reward in the UESP, you can make a better spell yourself.... at least that's what I'm telling myself.

I have this quest but have never finished it. This sounds troubling indeed. I′m on PC so I think I can fix it, but for you console players it certainly is a downer :sadvaultboy:

One of the most annoying quest-bugs, but don't worry, you're not missing out on much.
