During a Fighter's Guild quest I fought an NPC with a dagger that lowered my INT and LUCK attributes. But when I ate food to restore my intelligence nothing happened. My INT was lowered to 2, so my total magicka is only 4 which means I can't even do the most elementary spells. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Go to any temple, and pray at the altar.

First thing to try is praying at a chapel (unless your infamy is too high).

Also, make sure you have nothing equipped that boosts those attributes...or have god mode toggled.

I think you'll find that with your intelligence so low, that you only thought you were eating food. You may also notice that your shield is missing...

Now that you mention it, the Adoring Fan seems to have gone missing, too...
