Can I run Arena and Daggerfall..

The question is simple: Is it possible, if I put DOSBox and the free download versions of both games on a 4GB flash drive, to run them on any computer with sufficient specs by simply plugging said drive in? If this is one of those 'no, duh' questions, I apologize for my flaming ignorance, but as I found that both Morrowind and Oblivion use directory files installed to the specific computer they were installed on to run in addition to what lies in their own directories (Program Files/Besthesda Softworks/Morrowind or Oblivion in a normal install), this cannot be done with them. However, StarCraft, which if I am correct is from roughly the same time period, will allow this plug-and-play sort of install. That in mind, I thought it might be worth a shot despite the failures with the newer titles.

The reason I ask this is because my PC recently croaked and I do not know when I can get it fixed, but I have access to other computers that I am not allowed to install things on that would run both games. I'd try it and find out, but I would need to go purchase a new drive to do so. So, before I do and find out it doesn't work, I'd love to know if it's even possible.

Many thanks,
~Aulakauss

EDIT: If it matters, both of the computers I'd be using (and mine when it gets fixed) use Windows XP Home Edition.

Perhaps, just your mounting would be different I assume.

I just tested it for you. I have a laptop I don't use for gaming, so it's never had DOSBox installed. I copied my DOSBox folder to a USB drive, as well as the folder containing my copy of Arena. I ran the DOSBox executable, mounted my Arena folder, and tried running Arena directly from the USB drive. It works just fine. I didn't test Daggerfall since I don't have enough room on the USB drive I had handy, but considering that Arena works, I'm confident Daggerfall will work just fine.
