System requirements have not been released yet, but since they are using the iDTech4 engine, i would guess that you should be fine.

Had the same question. Running on a 2.5 e5200ghz duo core, geforce 9500gt 1gb, 800mhz 2gb ram! I too can run l4d2 without any problems.

Well, the Source Engine is very simple compared to the id4Tech Engine.

Even though it is able to produce some really awesome graphics (Mirror's Edge), it has it's very obvious limits and would probably not be able to produce graphics like in BRINK.
Also the Source Engine is very hardware-friendly and doesn't require too much power.

So if you can run recent Source games on max settings in high resolution on best settings, I'd say you'll easily be able to play BRINK, but rather on medium settings.

If you can run Bad Company 2, you should be fine. Because that game requires some ridiculous amount of hardware-ressources.

Indeed , I remember playing wars with 30-35 fps even though I was on a quadcore (not a high end one , but still)

Uh, Mirrors Edge was developed on Unreal 3 not Source. Source is a little more dated than idT4 and Brink is using an updated rendering engine on top of that, but what really matters is how well the engine is optimized to your hardware.

Yeah, my bad. Found out about it just yesterday as well. Somehow that got stuck in my head when Mirror's Edge was still in development.
