OMG. You are going to be a target of hate amongst the purist PC crowd saying you will be using a 360 controller with your PC...
I personally prefer controllers (especially the sublime 360 controller) to mouse and keyboard. I will be playing Skyrim on my PC rigged up to my Sony Bravia 55" LCD TV and 5.1 audio set up. I simply cannot wait!!!!!

as to if you will be able to run it, I would say yes but on low settings. Also putting it out to your TV will actually decrease your graphics quality because of the larger screen which equals less pixel density and more work for your comp running 2 screens, as to using the Xbox controller i am a Keyboard and mouse fan because of the feel but if you want to use a 360 controller thats your decision

I think you will manage it, but not very well. If you can, add a couple of gigs of RAM and up your graphics card.

the true PC gaming master race uses a mouse for aiming and an anolog stick for moving.

integrated GPUs are not good for gaming. i had a desktop with a Radeon x200 or something when Oblivion came out and i got maybe 20fps max at 800x600 with everything on low-medium. i'd hesitate to say that you'd get the same performance in Skyrim with that setup since it's not out yet, but...

i'd say get a new videocard, and maybe another 2GB of RAM. everything else should be alright.

I am just gunna say, you can't run Skyrim.... it's not released yet. Oh! and if you want an Intelligent answer, ask an intelligent question. We CAN NOT answer anything for certain because we don't even have a list of recommended settings, thus the question is redundant. If you have the money for a graphics card now, save it for 5~7 months, when then a month or two before Skyrim comes out, get the new graphics card then if it looks like you will need it... we'd probably have the recommended specs by then, we don't have em now and have no idea what kind of graphics the game will implement as a whole...

No, you cannot run Skyrim. You probably can't even run Oblivion very well. And no, hooking it up to your HDTV won't improve your experience at all. The higher resolution will completely destroy playability.

And honestly, you don't even have to buy whatever is the greatest thing out there right before the game comes out. Chances are the specs aren't going to be that demanding. If you're serious about playing the game on the PC, then buy a real desktop. That laptop of yours simply won't cut it.

Edit: I assume it's a laptop because you're using an ATI Mobility Radeon GPU, which is the standard onboard for laptop graphics. I'm pretty sure I've yet to see a desktop mobo come with ATI Mobility Radeon as the onboard graphics.

Edit 2: Preferred specs would look similar to this, I'd assume:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 @~3.2GHz
RAM: 4GB DDR3
GPU: At the very least ATI Radeon 5000 series, preferably 6000 series w/ 512MB of memory at least.
Sound: Honestly, onboard works just fine for most regular uses. Unless you're an audiophile and demand excellent sound, just leave it how it is.

I did an AMD built because that's what I am more familiar with and that is what I prefer. Plus they tend to be less expensive.

Your graphics card is really what makes you suffer.

Laptops aren't really for gaming, and if you do have a "gaming" laptop, it usually costs a great deal. If you want a really good gaming computer, build it yourself. Feel free to ask in the Community Discussion how to go about that, as there are tons of people who build their own computers who would be happy to help you.
