My new laptop has 32 mb dedicated video ram, I see that this is the minimum, but on can you run website for morrowind everything else passed with flying colors. I've never played morrowind before and am planning to get it by next week, anything I should be worried about when I get it? Should I even get it with that little video ram? Appreciate all helpful suggestions or warnings!

My old PC also had 32MB integrated video card, with 3GHz core2duo which ran vanilla morrowind fine. I even used MGEXE, without distant land obviously. If you don't use high-rez texture mods, you should be fine.

Morrowind more leans towards CPU power than GPU, and that to on individual core speeds. So, whats your processor specs and may be even RAM ?

Honestly, I don't really know anything at all about computers which is why I had to go get a website do all this stuff for me, lol. All I really know is that I have CPU: Intel® Celeron® N2830 @ 2.16 GHz, CPU Speed 2.2 GHz, Performance Rated at 2.42 GHz, RAM 4.0 GB, OS Windows 8 (Build 9200) 64bit. And this I really only understand because I was told, sorry if i'm uninformative on this, but this is my only real time having to worry about system specs.

Its pretty decent. Should run Morrowind, although you might want to lay off texture replacers.

And don't install morrowind in Program files. It causes problems. If you are on steam, you might have to https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7418-YUBN-8129 out of Program files.

Ok thanks for the help, any quest mods or anything that doesn't do stuff with the graphics should be fine, right? Sorry to ask probably redundant questions.

It would help to know how old your laptop is.
Anything on Vista or newer should have no problems with Morrowind, even with a bunch of usual mods.

But you'll need a powerful "gaming laptop" to use exernal things like MGE to its fullest.

With standard mods, you can use basically everything.
And except for very crowded areas (the number of NPCs and/or meshes) you should be fine.
Texture replacers also have a very small impact on performance. You should be fine with almost any of them, unless they are gigantic, and most are not.
High detailed meshes is what you want to avoid. That is the biggest hit on performance for standard mods. (Trees and grass mods being the main things to look out for here)

External programs like MGE is different though. Although you can use MGE just for the MWSE, using it for Distant Land or shaders requires some PC muscle.

Thank you for the help! I think now I understand the game and my new computer a bit more now that this all has been explained, i'll definitely be getting the game now! Also the laptop was manufactured earlier this year, I think it was made June 7th or sometimes around there.
