Sup. So, I recently got a new PC and so I decided to buy Skyrim off of steam. It installed perfectly, etc but when I try to save my game, nothing happens? I don't get any autosaves either, and quicksaves won't work. It's if as the saves themselves arn't even created in the first place.

I tried downloading a save from skyrimnexus, which loaded up just fine. Thing is, when I tried to replace that save it wasn't replaced, it was simply...deleted. What do I do?

Also, it's worth mentioning that both my skyrimprefs.ini and skyrim.ini are located in my documents/my games/skyrim

This is normal.

As for your saves, did you make sure that your saves folder isn't set on "read only"?
