Can we see Bruma?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 7:11 pm

I think it would be kinda cool if in Skyrim we could go right to the border of the province and see Bruma in the distance :) it could even be bigger, since it's 200 years later.

Udig?

Idc really. But if we're going there, I hope they put out the fire in the Mages Guild. I mean, for my character that fires been burning for a couple years now.

Or it could be destroyed.

Guldmaster, what fire?
I literally, have no idea wtf you are trying to say.

I think it would be cool to SEE it (I.E. see it in the distance)
But I don't think you should be able to go there.

After a certain Mages Guild quest the Bruma guild is on fire inside.

It would make a great Easter egg if you could see the mage's guild being still on fire...

Oh, I thought you were making a metaphor.

Yeah that was lazy programming on beth's part. Like kvatch.
I mean seriously, how is it raining 24/7 in kvatch but it is still on fire?

Spoiler
There was this http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:A_Plot_Revealed in Bruma where you were sent to find out why they haven't been in contact lately. You arrive to find Mini-Mannimarco's henchfolk have attacked the place, setting it on fire. The fires never go out, no matter how long the rest of your playthrough runs.

Maybe, and that fire in the Mages guild thing would be hilarious. It would be nice if they expanded the borders ever so slightly so we could go to Cloud Ruler Temple.

Would be a neat little thing if you ever went to the southern edge of the province. But i won't care if it doesn't make it in.

Hahaha! No freakin kidding. That'd be so funny to play Skyrim and then see the fire in the Mages Guild (Now college of whispers) still burning.

That would be cool :) maybe for a quest for The Blades you needa go back to the temple ruins and recover something.

Also, I think the main quest for Elder Scrolls VI should be to put out the great fire of the Bruma Mage's Guild :) Everyone would be super excited when they're told they're Fireborn, but then they'd realise they're just a common fire fighter.

That's right. Cause in real life if you visit a country, you either visit all of it or just hit an invisible wall -_-

The Jerall Mountains are probably going to be unpassable and a lot larger than they were in Oblivion. You most likely won't be able to see into Cyrodiil at all.

I loled at the idea of hitting an invisible wall in real life
But seriously yeah it would be pretty jarring to go there and not be able to go anywhere else.

They wouldn't be that much bigger. The scales in the 2 games are fairly similar.
