Can't see OOO installation

Post » Mon Nov 01, 2010 10:09 pm

Just installed windows 7, installed Oblivion, extracted OOO into oblivion data folder and nothing is showing up there. No ooo folder, nothing. I've done this a couple of times but it refuses to show up. I'm sure I'm just an idiot but any help would be appreciated.

Hi there and welcome. :wavey:

In that case I think you need to read this http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1106994-tesivpositive-installation-guides/ and this http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/?page=guides_mod_installation&subpage=ooo_installation_guide too. :read:

You also need both http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1138211-relz-boss-better-oblivion-sorting-software/ and http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1136734-relz-wrye-bash-thread-54/ installed before you can play OOO. :)

Good luck and enjoy the game. :D

Did you read the installation instructions for the OOO mod package before you started out?

The common wisdom with Win7 is to NOT install Oblivion into "C:/Programs/..." but in another than the default path. I don't know if your problem might be related to that.

Thank you. I just needed to run the installer as administrator. Everything appears to be working as it should.
