Hi, this is my first post on this forum so sorry if its not in the right section.

I cannot become a thane of Solitude for some odd reason. I've bought a house, I did the long potema quest, I put the horn on the shrine of talos, I helped the old lady find out about her daughter, and I helped the beggar retrieve his helmet.

It says I have 4 out of the 5 things done for the miscellaneous quest "Help the people of haafingar"

I've tried talking to elisif the fair in clothes bought from Radiant Raiment. (fine clothes)

I've also tried talking to the shop lady to help her get the shipments of the spiced wine but she doesn't give me any dialogue options.

What else can I do to complete this miscellaneous quest? Thanks.

PS.

I don't want to give any spoilers so I'll just put it at this, I've already done the Dark Brotherhood quest line. Is that affecting it?

Did you give that old man a gold coin? It counts as you helping someone.

Or did you talk to the old women in the alchemy shop and help her out?

By old man I mean the guy who asks you to find his helmet...Can't remember his name though..
