I believe that the licence you agreed to when you installed the Creation kit meant that Bethesda already owns your mod so they would never actually buy it. could be wrong

This. Regardless of the mod quality, if Bethesda wanted to use it they are free to do so. It belongs to them already :)

Okay, examples.

Glory Road = Huge Morrowind mod. Popular. Not bought and turned into DLC.
Wizards Tower = Huge Morrowind mod. Fairly popular. Not bought and turned into DLC.
Gates of Aesgard = Ditto, but for Oblivion.
Dungeons of Ivelion = As above.
Better cities and open cities = Sensing a pattern yet? No DLC here either
Unique landscapes = Guess what?

Besides, as has been pointed out, as the EULA means that Bethesda owns anything you make with the CK, they won't need to pay you a penny......you might get a thank you though. Though that crack about texture and mesh fails in your second post probably killed that chance.

One more time: no, it's not happening. You can't sell something that you don't own.

We should probably just stop responding until a mod locks this. We all know what's going on here, and there's no point in keeping this up.

You are not legally allowed to sell mods made for Bethesda games with Bethesda's tools, and Bethesda isn't going to buy them, it's as simple as that. There are lots of fantastic mods out there for all of Bethesda's games and they've never shown any intention whatsoever to integrate them into their games for free or sell them as DLC.

Modding is a hobby, if you're modding with the intention of making money off it you're not doing it for the right reasons. At most it may help to get you a job in the gaming industry, in which case you should probably first release the mod for free like everyone else does.
