Can Skyrim be updated to use the new Creation Engine?

Post » Mon Nov 16, 2015 7:45 pm

A 64 bit version of Skyrim has been everyone's favorite feature request since the day of release in 11/11/11. I can see now that in Fallout 4 Bethesda has updated the Creation Engine to 64-bit. Is there any chance Skyrim can be updated to use the new 64-bit version of the Creation Engine?

Please?

No, mostly cause no developer has ever done so, the work needed would outweigh the gains.

It'd basically need a remake/remaster and the costs incurred would mean they wouldn't give it away as a free update, they'd have to sell it. And while I would want a 64bit Skyrim, I'm not buying a game twice just to get it.

I'd buy a game twice to get it... just like all the people who bought the new version of Dark Souls 2....

Bethesda is done with Skyrim, I'm afraid you must wait for The Elder Scrolls VI.

Nah they're not done with skyrim, there's an ongoing beta right now I think even. Considering how much money they made off this game I think it would only be fair if we got that update.
