So I completed the Azura Shrine quests and I now own the Black Star soul gem. I used Black Star to enchant a regular battleaxe but then it disappeared. Before the enchantment took place the description of the Black Star read "Filled with Grand Soul". However, after the enchantment, I can no longer use the Black Star for enchantment.I mean it doesn't appear under the 'Soul Gem' tab at the enchantment table like it did previously.

I thought the key selling point for obtaining the Black Star was that it was the only reusable soul gem in the game, meaning it doesn't get destroyed after using it for an enchanter. Am I missing something? Is this a known glitch? Please help.

p.s.- I did save my game before the enchanter because i foresaw something like this happening, therefore I can revert to the time before the enchanter anytime that I want.

You know that normal Soul Gems hold creature souls? Azura's Star is the Epic normal Soul Gem.
You know that Black Soul Gems hold humanoid souls? The Black Star is the Epic Black Soul Gem.

You have to refill it again.

Is it because I used all the souls in the Black Star during the enchantment? Maybe if I capture more souls, the black star will reappear in the 'soul gem' tab. Come to think of it, the only soul gems that are displayed in the 'soul gem' tab are the ones that are filled with souls. Time to test my theory, hope this works. :brokencomputer:

Well, yes, lol. You need to fill it up with souls again after you use it of course.
