Can someone help me decipher this Papyrus Log?

Post » Thu Jan 08, 2015 2:41 am

First time using it and I have no idea what I'm looking at. I was hoping one of you veterans could help me out.

http://pastebin.com/8Kp5yhfn a link to my Papyrus Log. I am crashing constantly anywhere around the Windhelm Stables, and in general, almost anywhere on the Northeast part of the map. I can't do the main quest in Kynesgrove until this gets fixed. Can someone help me?

Do you use any mods? Has the game worked fine before? I once had crash issues but they were all fixed when I did 'verify integrity of game cache' in Steam. Unfortunately I cannot help with the log, though.

I have a ton of mods. I had to merge some as well because I reached the 255 mod limit.

The game has worked before. I usually get lag spikes in cities, but that's the worst of it.

I'm tempted to try verifying the integrity of game cache but IIRC, that resets all of my settings, even my .ini settings. I'd rather not set them again because I don't remember all of my tweaks.

The papyrus log begins with ..

[01/07/2015 - 10:02:00AM] Cannot open store for class "_arissa_inpc_behavior", missing file?[01/07/2015 - 10:02:00AM] Cannot open store for class "chherdingquestscript", missing file?[01/07/2015 - 10:02:02AM] Cannot open store for class "Mycastanotherspellscript", missing file?[01/07/2015 - 10:02:02AM] Cannot open store for class "NecroApocryphaBookScript", missing file?[01/07/2015 - 10:02:02AM] Cannot open store for class "EGOTestInitScript", missing file?[01/07/2015 - 10:02:04AM] Cannot open store for class "PF__01022031", missing file?
.. which should indicate that you removed some previously used mods and continued to use that savegame. Make a backup of your savegames folder and try to use the http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363 on your last save. Some more questions ..

Do you use BOSS or LOOT to sort your loadorder?
Are you familiar with TES5Edit?
Are you using a Bashed Patch?
Do you use ENBoost?
Do you use the "Skyrim Memory Patch", either directly through SKSE or through SSME?

Yeah, I already use the script cleaner. All of the orphan scripts are removed.

1) I use LOOT.

2) I am to an extent.

3) Yes I am.

4) I'm using RealVision ENB, and to my knowledge, it already adds the ENBoost.

5) Yes I do, the skse.ini version.

If you use the latest RealVision ENB, ENBoost should be enabled, yes.

Which Mod Manager do you use (primarily)?
Could you post your loadorder?

Another adivce would be to test your game with http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6491. It would also help to post of a screenshot of the test with that tool here. Because you use SKSE + an ENB you will need to follow some special rules regarding SPM, but they are all layed out on the modpage (same goes for running SPM with MO, that complicates the setup a bit more, but it is still manageable).

I use Mod Organizer. It's my first time using it too, although I'm pretty sure I'm doing nothing wrong. I followed Gopher's tutorials.

My load order:

I'll give Skyrim Performance Monitor a try when I get home.

Well, the obvious thing is .. you use many, many mods. With that comes a high possibility that you are
- overloading Papyrus, Skyrims script engine
- overloading your pc in general

Through SPM you can check your general fps trend, ram and vram usage, etc ++. A general tipp that will definitely will come up here is to simply cut down the list of mods you use, to release a (rather great) bit of the burden you put on Skyrim's shoulders. That has the possibility to harm your savagame even more, of course, but as it stands you can't progress with your game anyway.

Besides that, looking at your loadorder I can't see something that is 'bad' right from the start (or by itself). But maybe someone else looking up this thread might see something. What mods were merged and are "hiding" behind those "ModPack" mods?

Then, please post the content of your skse.ini, I would like to see if it is correctly setup.

To add a note regarding SPM. The rough instructions are:
- start ENBHost.exe (or what it was called)
- start SPM
-- because you use MO, you must change the filepaths in SPM's settings correctly
-- because you use ENB, also activate the "experimental d3d9 suppport" within SPM's settings
- through SPM you then start MO
- through MO you then start SKSE (and thus Skyrim)

Mod overload or not, that papyrus log still was a mess.

Even though save script cleaner exists, I'd never remove any mod and continue to use that save. Scripts are not the only ones that get baked into the save.
