...what merchant may have a fairly regular supply of buffout, if any? I've been fast traveling all over the map and I can't seem to find one, but I could swear I saw one once.

Craig and Arcade are completely addicted to buffout, and I need some more before they start to get cranky on me. (discovered companions will use this with fair regularity if in their inventory)

Companions use Buffout? I placed Med-Ex in their inventory but it's never used.

Yeah....I starting noticing because I'd dash up to heal them and it'd say 285/180 or some such instead of 225/180. As usual not entirely sure what triggers the use but I assume dmg taken. They almost always use when hit by a deathclaw for instance, assuming they have time to before collapsing...but also seen them use it in other fights. So maybe if all circumstances were 'perfect' it'd go something like take buffout, then with more dmg. taken they'd take a stimpack. It's not too useful by itself but if you have time to heal them manually in middle of fight the extra hp's helps 'em survive to the end.

It was really fun to take Craig & Arcade to the deathclaw cavern. Hawhaw. Love the multi-companion mod.

I've been able to loot a fair amount of Buffout from the gang members/raiders that hang at some of the famrs and houses north of NV. They respawn too after a couple days.

If I'm remembering right, when I went to Boone's room in Novac, there was some Buffout in his sink.
