I can take almost anything I want from Arcadia's Cauldron? : V

Is the fact that I'm a thane in Whiterun the reason I can take any ingredient I find in Arcadia's Cauldron? Some items are Steal, but none of the ingredients are. I walked in there and took every ingredient I saw and she didn't even blink an eye.

Is this normal? Is she letting me because I'm a thane? I know ingame it said I can get away with minor crimes, but I didn't expect to be able to just take a merchant's merchandise like this. I didn't notice if this was how it was before I was a thane though,

EDIT: Nevermind. In typical Holycannoli fashion I managed to find the answer shortly after posting this.

Notes

An adept-locked strongbox and business ledger are in the upstairs bedroom.
Once you complete deliver Farengar Secret-Fire's minor quest to deliver some frost salts to Arcadia you will earn her friendship. She will then allow you to take many of the items in her shop.
If you break into the shop at night, Arcadia might be talking in her sleep. She will say all of her normal phrases but her mouth doesn't move as she is in bed. Probably a bug.

I swear every time I post asking a question I find the answer shortly after, but I don't find the answer before posting.

If you help people out, they will let you take stuff from their house/shop. I believe the restriction is based on the value of the item, but i could be wrong. I think its even more messed up when they let you take small amounts of gold from their store lol.
