I can't talk to Codsworth the flying robot on the first quest after I leave the vault.

I walk up to him and press ' E ' to talk, but nothing happens.

Yep, I'm hitting this too. I tried loading an older save, and also restarting FO4 entirely. No luck. He just won't speak to me.

Update: Tried console commands: disable/enable, and also kill/resurrect. The commands issued successfully (for example, I did manage to kill and resurrect him), but it didn't fix the bug. He still just won't speak to me. This blocks the quest "Out of Time".
