Hello,

I recently had to re-install Windows on my computer, and my copy of Crysis 2. When I went to play online, I no longer had my experience points, unlocked weapons, custom configurations, etc. Is there a way I can get all that back on my new install of Crysis 2?

Some of your player data was stored in C:\Users\\Saved Games\Crysis2\profiles. Restoring that will fix the custom loadouts and other things...But your XP and weapon stats are stored "in the cloud", and the game rebuilds your character from that.

Your rank still shows as a level 22. Do you show level 1?

You may have been hit by a version of the "Auto-reset" glitch that has affected a number of folks. Sadly there seems to be little to do about it but play on. Given that the account is glitched (you show level 1), you might consider creating a new account in-game to lessen your odds of getting glitched again. If you show level 22, then only your loadouts and browser preferences were lost, and your assessments and unlocks may be funky. Got a backup?

I do still have the files in the C:\Windows.old.000\Users\XXXXX\Saved Games\Crysis2\Profiles\default folder. I transferred them to the new folder. Now my game has all my stuff back in it. It seems good now, I'll watch for anything that's "out of the ordinary."
