So, we can turn off quest targets!

The only thing i can see this changing is the fact that now when I'm done questing and feel like goofing off i don't have to look at the marker. I seriously doubt that they put in the extra effort into making sure the NPCs gave good enough directions that you wont need a map marker. Especialy considered skyrim will have voice acting. Or is it not 100% voice acting? please god say its not 100% :violin: Sorry if I seem cynical just being realistic.

Nice gesture though.

It would be kind of pointless to allow you to take out the quest markers if the NPC's did not give out enough information to complete the quest without it or what is the point of being able to remove it? Some sort of prank?

Its nice to have the option since always having a quest arrow gets kinda old and now I can find it on my own if I wish or turn it on when I get stuck.

Maybe if you don't feel like doing any quest at any given moment you can turn it off?

If the npcs give good enough directions so that i don't even need the marker or have to wonder aimlessly to find the quest locations ill be very surprised. Especially considering this game is focused on voice acting, and has generated quests based on where i have been, what level i am etc. Although there are 70 or so voice actors involved in the game so i could be wrong.

it actually wouldnt be that hard. directions dont necessarily have to be given from the point of the player character. it would be based on existing locations such as towns and then you go from there. morrowind did this just fine. an example would be "head north from the Chicago northern gates, when you get to a fork in a road turn east and proceed till you cross a bridge. as soon as you cross the bridge head north again and on the right hand side of the road you will find the bunny to kill." you can follow that from anywhere in the game. all of morrowind directions were based of nearby settlements and landmarks and they worked just fine no matter where you got the quest.
