Whenever I try to play Crysis it pulls up the patch 1.4 window, it basically goes like this:
Start Crysis2.exe -> Downloading patch -> Searching for Crysis 2 -> Crysis 2 could not be located on your system.
Is there any way to fix this without actually reinstalling the game?

Crysis2.exe leads me into the game with only 3 1.2 servers left.
Crysis2Launcher.exe leads me to the patch where it can't find my game.
I've currently got DVD-ROM and patch 1.2.

Ok, it's important to try and be as accurate as possible with this because it can lead to totally different results:
Start Crysis2.exe -> Downloading patch -> Searching for Crysis 2 -> Crysis 2 could not be located on your system.
I'm currently chasing up an official link to the 1.4 patch so that players can manually download the patch if need be, see here: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=28582

It's only taking a while because we need to first clarify that there's no issues with versioning or anything that may cause an issue with direct linking to one file, as opposed to the system automatically picking the correct file.

Try to reinstall the game, maybe it helps... Do you have the EADM?

That patch file from that mediafire download is the same one that the Crysis 2 launcher starts; all that file does is search all my files and says it can't find Crysis 2.

Found it out, for some reason it was called crysis2.exe instead of Crysis2.exe.
