Can't use padalin dance after nucular family : Fallout 4

So I completed the main story line I sided with the institute after destroying the brotherhood and completing nucular family I returns to my settlement ware I left padalin dance and I apoached him hoping to take him as a companion again but it onley gives me the option to trade with him no dialogue what so ever is this a bug or is this the result of some game choices

It sounds like a bug, as Danse is suppose to be at the fight during Airship Down where he utimately dies, if you go through with the Institute.

Having him at one of your settlements instead of at Prydwen may be the cause.

This happens if you romance (or, I assume, just reach max affinity with) him. Normally, he'll immedately turn hostile. I dunno if this is a bug or something, but personally, I find it kind of heartbreaking.

If you side against the Brotherhood and destroy the Prydwen, Danse will either become hostile to you or, if you have maxed his affinity or romanced him, become neutral like a settler.
