Can't Votekick Cheaters with names starting with ` or ~

I don't want to sound like a noob having a winge but today i saw a user named " ~<$7@$0$1 " that i am 99.99% sure was hacking, in one match he got 49 Kills to 2 Deaths (picture below). The problem is when u go into the console and type

votekick ~ it closes the console window. idk y crytek allows users to have nicknames starting with " ~ " and " ` ". It makes them almost completely impossible to kick. Another thing i noticed about ~<$7@$0$1 was that in the following matches when people started to catch on to him he did really badly. Someone who does a 49 to 2 doesnt then go to a 2 to 10 in another match. It just doesnt happen.

btw i think i was in a Games.on.net server, i know the ip was 150.183.162:64000 and this was around 7PM AEST on the 16 September. If you ~<$7@$0$1 are reading this and you were not hacking i apologise, but Crytek need to stop users creating names with the " ~ " and " ` " characters.

For votekicking people with just ' or ~ you need to type votekick then press tab to cycle through the names.

To vote people with full html names though like ~<$7@$0$1 you need to convert the html symbols before you can votekick, quickest way to do it but doesn't always work is use something like this html converter:

Type the name into the box and press convert so you end up with something like this:

        ~<$7@$0$1
   




Copy what it says in between the tags i.e.
Code:
~<$7@$0$1 and paste after votekick in console.

Also, If you try to kick or ban these names with the "~" using your admin/rcon it simply crashes the rcon.

We managed a votekick the other night on a hack punk with a tilde "~" in his name using the tabbing feature of votekick. But then the server wacked out and wouldnt run properly for about 24 hours. It kept kicking all the players off every minute or so. I restarted the server several times, but nothing fixed the issue.

The next day the server worked fine again. It doesnt take a genius to figure out that when the kicked players name finally dropped off the logs the server could function again.

I believe the server was wanky until the voteckicked players name was auto-released by the log file. It was as if the hack's name on the ban/log file or wherever it goes messes with the server itself due to the tilde"~".

Crap, I dont even know why I am spending the time talking about this. Crytek isn't going to fix the issue and this game is DOA anyway. If only....
