Can we wear two rings?

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 7:38 am

I know this sounds dumb, but can we wear two ring in Skyrim?

I use a PC and I click on one ring on it puts the ring on my right hand finger. I click on another ring and the first ring comes off and puts the new ring on my right hand. How do I put a ring on my left hand?

I got 8 fingers and 2 thumbs, and I want rings on ALL of them (and maybe a bracelet on my wrist)

Un likely. That would require making duplicate "left hand" versions of every ring. It wouldn't work like Oblivion where it had 2 dedicated ring slots.

For balance reasons, they limited it. Can you imagine how easy it would be if you had all defense boosting rings?

What about wearing non boosting rings? Maybe I just like some rings?

It's kind of hard to balance:

-Should I wear my marriage ring or my ring of alteration

I should be able to wear both.

You will just end up losing your marriage ring in the shower anyways so might as well stick to alteration so you can cast feather and run away faster from your angry wife.

Yeah one ring only. So far from what I've seen, the rings are good enough for there to be only 1 slot for them.

Sure "we should be able to have 10 necklaces around our neck, 10 rings on our hands and 10 on our toes and let's not forget about 4 ear-rings and ′three hoods on top of each other. Oh and I also want to enchant my socks and my underpants"

i think two rings max would be okay...inanother game (or maybe even tes?) they used the explanation that if you wearong to magic rings to close to each other, they power kind of disables/blocks each others....something like a mobile phone at a speaker...lol but that explanation works for me lore-technically

in yet another game or book they even wrote that rings would get jeallous (magic items are kinda alive) and stopp working properly

This is ridiculous, they take away one enchant slot by merging cuirasses and greaves and then only let you wear one ring?

Their lucky everything else is so mindmeltingly awesome.

Maybe someone gave him a couple of fingers.

OT : You still have 6 slots. How overpowered does one have to be?...for crying out loud...

You can wear two amulets.... But not two rings.

In all the fantasy lore that I know of the ring restrictions per hand are usually based on something to the effect of "magics in such close proximity won't work". So considering that... it seems a little backwards.

They sure are trying their hardest to stop you being OP.
I don't see the problem of being OP, it's a single player game.
Okaaay maybe in Oblivion I had 120% Chameleon and coupled with the Grey Cowl I could do anything I wanted without consequence lol
