So, how bad is it to play when you only have two bars? because that's all I get every time and I was wondering if maybe I should just wait for the next patch or something, is that ruining the game form me or do I just plain svck at it?

if you are talking about the bars on the right hand side next to your name then thats just you "ping" or connection to the host of the room the higher your ping the better your connection it does not necessarily mean that its ruining the game i actually play with 2 to 3 bars most of the time .

well for me i usually bounce all over the place from 4 bars to 1. and let me tell you when u are host ur basically god ive gone 30 and 3 on team instant action. 3bars is decent still playable. when i have two bars i usually give up playing online because of the lag issues and 1bar the game isnt even playable. i feel like waiting for a new patch 2 fix the online servers b4 i start playing this game online again.

For me my ping is fine, however the host who always has the highest ping will have the advantage. It happens on every online game and is not limited to Crysis 2. It is also not limited to PSN, Xbox Live also has the same issues.

I do agree this needs to be sorted out, but different people have different connection speeds.

this doesnt happen on every online game, it happens on p2p games. dedicated servers can have lag but there is no host to be 5 seconds ahead of where you are. as far as bars, sometimes 2 is fine, and sometimes 3 is not even good. i have even had times where i somehow magically die as host while having the jump on someone who isnt using armor so go figure. usually the host has a pretty good advantage, i have even seen 4 to 5 seconds difference from a host killing me to what i saw on the killcam. i died before he even got in front of me and on the killcam he cloaked, stood there for 4 or so seconds, jumped once and then shot me, being only a few feet away the whole time lol. needless to say i wasnt laughing at the time. so ur experience can really vary depending on host location, or even something stupid like every time you see an enemy its the host who magically kills you in what seems to be 2 shots. i try not to look at the bars because i can do great with 1 or not as good with 3, but if i keep dying to people that i had the drop on ill leave and find another game or hope the next has another host. some of my best games have been on 2 bars so as stu lantz would say, let success be your guide.

I switch between low and hate for this game . I literally experienced the lag change last night in the process of a game, suddenly ppl died when u shot them, no longer taking a million shots , and kill am showed u shooting them, instead of a million shots and to die in one, only for cam to show me or him shooting thin air and me dying regardless, or him having been shooting me for past hr whilst I'd only shot him once.

Aaaaargh this game makes me angry, i switched to kz3 and ppl actually die when shot, head shots register, no lag, no being shot around corners ( yes only other time I've had that was blops, and that got traded like a mo fo). It doesn't even happen to me in every p2p game like some have suggested here. Kz3 is lag free now basically and hit detection works properly, mw2 after initial period was basically immaculate. Yes p2p may always have odd bit of lag, but this is just bad net coding, as it can be done, but so far they've failed to get it right. 3 bars is still irritating but lag isn't game breaking, but anything below that and it's a joke.

If they fix, could take up lot of my time, if they don't hurry up, some shops offering ￡35 in trade value right now, so I might get rid soon . I know many others are doing same, so community will die if they don't hurry up, ppl already thinking about brink, rage and further ahead to bf3, so they need to give ppl reason to stick with it

2 or 3 bars is fine. 1 is, admittedly, very bad. There seems to be a massive dip here.
