I spent more time then I'm willing to admit fixing up my Survivors old home at Sanctuary so she sleeps in Shauns room next to his crib, and she collects the baby toys and bottles all over the Wasteland and stores them in that room. It svcks that when I go in there Piper is sleeping in the bed! Can we claim beds? It seems odd that we can't because you see beds out in the wasteland that are "owned" so why can't we do it in our settlements? I wanna force Cait and Piper to live together and move Danse and Macready into my spare room

I don't think you can claim a bed for yourself, but you can assign settlers to other beds that you build in town to keep them from hot-racking with you. Not sure if you can assign companions to specific beds, though. I'll have to try it.
