It is interesting, certainly, but they are also definitely not for everyone. It's a bit more extreme than most people are used to. Still, if they're in then they're in, and I'm fine with it. I wonder what other earwear there will be though. I hope we get headphones. That would be sweet.

Personally I think it's disgusting but that's just me. I do however think it fits perfectly with the game, seeingas many of the "rebels" given their lifestyle may be into these kinda things... that said I'll be playing mainly as a rebel myself so heh, not hating ^^

Speaking from experience here, the most disgusting part about gauged ears is the smell if you don't clean them thoroughly! :laugh:

Oh wait... I'm getting a little off-topic. I won't hold my breath for gauged ears in Brink, but it would be a neat surprise for sure!

Then again, with my luck, they'd be tied to one facial archetype, so in order to have big lobes, I'd have to have my character look like Brian Peppers or something.

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to cause as much ruckus as I thought.
It's just my opinion, I really do think stretchers are quite confronting, because of the massive hole in their ear.
But that's me, I'm not saying don't wear them, do whatever you like, I don't mind.
