Hi, something I never tried last beta was to see if I could disable exp.

Reason I ask is watching Angry Joes PvP vid, he mentions that while playing PvP, you still gain level experience (if I understood him correctly).

PvP looks superb to me and I can imagine that once I'm at level 10, I'll initially spend quite a few hrs there before continuing in PvE. What I don't want to do is out level my PvE quests while doing so.

I would like to know this also. There have been many times I have wanted to turn off experience and hope TESO has a way to do it.

I thought the exact same. I don't want to out level areas and want to complete all and I mean all the quests. It would'nt be a major issue cause I would do them Anyway. Perhaps we gain a different type of xp to the level xp. He mentioned alliance points, perhaps that's it.

I can't help but think that an MMO is doing something right if people want to turn experience gain off.

I looked in the last beta and I honestly couldn't find a way of doing it.

You do level from doing PvP but it isn't as fast as questing, from my experience. I got a character to 10 through questing then to 20 through PvP and whilst obviously it will be slower to level from 10-20 than from 1-10 regardless of the methods used, it did seem quite a bit slower.

Would love to be able to slow & disable xp for frinds to catch up or to not outlevel areas.

Also would have liked leveled areas like GW2 where you were down leveled for the content.

I don't believe XP can be turned off at this time, but you level extremely slowly in PvP.

You already lvl very slowly in this game, I seriously doubt you need to turn it off to be able to play pvp and enjoy the pve zones. With 1 full day of playing pvp in the beta, I got a little over 1 lvl.

If you avoid the quests in the pvp area (bounty quests for killing enemy players, for example), your leveling pretty much stops while there.
