Can you freeroam after completing fallout 4 story? : Fallout 4

I'm wondering if you can freeroam and keep your character after finishing the main story? On the previous fallout games you couldn't, it would be a bit dumb if you couldn't.

Beth confirmed on Fallout 4 Facebook page, no level cap and you can keep playing after the main story is done.

I can tell you that for every future BGS game you will be able to continue playing after the main story ended. Fallout 3 was an experiment that backfired and Todd Howard stated that BGS will never do an ending like that again.

Yes, yes you can. And Broken Steel changed Fallout 3 so you could continue after the MQ. And I think they will stick to that.
