Can you be a ghoul?

Post » Fri May 28, 2010 1:45 am

I heard somewhere that you can start off as a ghoul. But knowing the couriers story this is likely bs. But i just wanted to see with you guys first.

Thanks.

its imposable if you try to use a hammer your arm would fall off :brokencomputer: and if you tryed to eat your jaw would break :cookie: and you would slowly die and thats not fun

It would be interesting if you could become a Ghoul on the otherhand.

That is incorrect, although I'm sure you're joking.

That doesn't happen.. learn the Ghoul physiology, they just can't supply enough oxygen to their skin so they appear rotting. They're fine on the inside (obviously irradiated), and their pieces don't fly off.

Tell that to Patches.

and I don't think they've confirmed or denied being a ghoul.

well if you go to underworld in fo3 a ghoul named patches says that his arm keeps falling off and the local docter keeps on having to sew it back on.

You should generally disregard alot of the crap Bethesda included. That doesn't fit with the physiology at all.

I think if they ever released a true papper fallout game it could be fun playing a ghoul. But a computer rpg with multipule races would just lack in depth imo.

Oh and I remember your pro ghoul  statements this morning. Bigot indeed. :)

That nearly happened, and look what Bethesda did.

The one about the smell? I knew that'd come back to bite me on the [censored]

Interestingly, unlike Fallout 3, there no good reason why you couldn't be a ghoul.

Yeah there were so many warnings that too much radiation would ghoulify you so i figured it'd be fun to get healed by radiation 20 minutes after standing by the Megaton bomb I just died as a human.

I'm going to go with "No, you can't." And lock this before the people intentionally posting misleading information do it again and get a warning and posting ability suspension. Really. It isn't a good thing to do.
