Can you keep playing after you finish the main quest? : Fallout Series Discussion

Was just wondering if you can go back and do side quests and explore and stuff. A simple yes or no is what I'm looking for since I don't want the story to be spoiled.

In FO2 you could keep on playing, but I never really felt like it.

All great stories have a well defined beginning, middle, and end. It is a constant.

Well, making certain choice at certain point of the game should have allowed the player to continue after the end of the game, for obvious reasons.

I really wish there was endgame to F3. I would just go around the Wastes killing [censored] and exploring. I'm going to probably keep a save file just before the point of no return so I can do that.

Right now, the other Fallout games take a back seat to the third, not only because of quality, but because of timing. And your insult would have worked better if I had actually made any spelling or grammar errors, asshat.

Nope, there is no way to play after the main quest is finished. You'll have to make sure you have a save before if you want to keep using that character.
