Can you be a lady in this game?

If fairness to the OP...

In all the other TES game, there have been male/female gender choices for characters.

Edit: Revision

I believe the character stalking the deer in the trailer is female, so I'd surmise that playing female characters is an option, yes, and I look forward to creating one. :twirl:

You can be female. Obviously.

If there are any dresses in Skyrim (maybe nobles wear them...I dont know) then I'm guessing the player can too...hopefully only female characters. Maybe they will have gender-specific clothing, who knows.

You could in all previous games so chances for laser pistols are in is far higher than you can only play as male.

Some of the npc in the villages had dresses, no fancy ones but we has only seen two farm villages yet.

No, she's a (wait for it...) dragonborn. Just like her male counterpart, the dragonborn.

A godess darling a godess... why settle for anything less.

TBH a Dragonborn is seemingly a mortal of extreme ability and fate, that is destined to possible greatness.
Some go on to be Emperors, others legends, some even aspects of gods.

Until release we don't know the reward for success of the MQ.
ATM we know you're stuck in jail at the start, that most likely you can create your own back story.
That you are a dragonborn and are fated to do great things.

So TBH you may end up as a princess or a queen, but at the start you can pretend to be whatever you wish.
Whether common, noble, princess or warrior, mage, knight.

You do realize that The Elder Scrolls is not Fable, yes?

EDIT: And you know what, as a male of the species I'm offended- so you're saying you can be a lady, or "...the other thing?" :meh:

dont listen to these trolls, they're just here to confuse you.

bethesda cut females from the game on the basis:
"the games to manly for such feminine gameplay"

i'm sure there'll be mods to add them ofc.

I'm pretty sure TES doesn't want to learn how to ruin a perfectly good franchise with a terminal case of "creeping featuritis" though.

No it can't.

If you want to play a girly girl, that's fine, but please don't force the stereotype on the rest of us. I don't want to be a princess. I want to be a Dragonborn.

I think that the next game they should use a lady in the trailor to be fair.

The reason they use guys is to appeal to their main audience, which is male. like 5% of the consumers will be female.

Everyone knows ladies can't do heroic things.

(Oh lawd, I'm kidding! KIDDING! *dives behind a table*)

But yes. It'd be bizarre if Bethesda ever made an open world game with only one gender. Nerevar could be either, so there's no reason the dragonborn can't.

Yes you'll be able to choose between Male and Female. For marketing purposes they choose to use a Male Nord or Imperial. Maybe the devs can one day tell us what race that character is and how we could possibly create him.

You know, thinking about it..... I have no idea if you can be a Lady in the game. Just like I've no idea if you can be a Lord.

I am quite certain you can be male or female, though. :D

(And please.... stop trying to drag things in from Fable. Lousy games.)
