If you can't alter your jump height, Jumping will be as meaningless as it was in Fo3/Nv

absolutely no reason to jump what so ever.

Definitely disagree with this comment. Being crafty with what you jump on top of and then try to jump up to could allow you to surpass certain obstacles and get the height advantage on enemies... Certain enemies couldn't even attack you if you jumped up on top of certain objects. Jumping never becomes meaningless. Honestly, if Bethesda were to ever remove jumping completely, I wouldn't ever buy another Elder Scrolls or Fallout game.

After reading this response to another thread... it kinda raised hairs on the back of my neck. So please, answer me these questions three...

Is jumping necessarily required in Skyrim in light of Acrobatics being dropped?

Is there an article, a video, or a screen shot, that confirms jumping has returned to Skyrim?

Is is possible that Bethesda is eliminating the ability to jump in the Elders Scrolls ... FOREVARRR!?!??

No, jumping has been removed to the game due it having no meaning.

In TES IV and FO 3, I only found jumping to be useful when I was stuck between rocks or kinda bored traveling between dungeons. It would be unfortunate if you could not jump in Skyrim, but I would get over it pretty quickly.

Furthermore... the E3 demonstration of Fallout 3 didn't showcase any jumping. But it jumping was included anyhow.

I live in Alaska, and back-country snowboard and hike peaks year-round. I do a [censored] load of jumping. Pretty sure that it's going to be in.. TES without jumping is McDonalds without buns.

Fable 3 didnt have jumping...

Im sure Skyrim will, it would be highly unlikely since their other games had jumping... If it doesnt then... Wow......... Would be a bad move imo.

It's jumping, they really don't need to confirm it when its obvious their going to include it. They included jumping in every other elder scrolls game, it would be a mistake to go "Hey let's not let people go into the air for a few seconds."

Acrobatics was removed because it really wasn't a useful skill and people would use fortify acrobatics spells and potions to jump over walls and go past city wall boundaries.

And Im talking about OBLIVION and all games after made by Beth and accompanying Party, not real life mmk? and unless your talking about a break in a path, no Ropes and Jumping do not count, Im talking about Skyrim . and do you really thing mountains are tailored to one jump height so you can reach every ledge? you guys have way to much romantisicms about what you think is going to be in I swear

I never said there wont be jumping in Skyrim, even Vsions said there is jumping across roofs, now with no jump hieght modifications apart from....armor...thats most likely some directed level.
