Can you still sell goods as a vampire?

Post » Tue Jul 09, 2013 12:44 am

Planning a playthrough as a vampire without the Dawnguard addon at first and was wondering how I would sell my goods if stores close at eight. Any suggestions?

go feed on someone to revert yourself to stage 1 vampirism, then you will not be harmed by the sun.

Just make sure you aren't at Stage 4.

...what are you smoking? You don't take damage when outside in the day, other than some debuffs on your stats.

He didn't say you take damage, just that you're harmed by the sun which in turn harms your stats.

I played as a vampire with DG, and I just ignored the sun effect and sold things as usual. People just comment that u r pale and that they don't like your eyes but they will still buy/sell.
Or if you are rp'ing being a more authentic vamp, there is the smith in Volkihar Castle that you can sell things to.

Yes, but the OP can't sell stuff if he's a Stage 4 Vampire. He isn't installing DG.

Like other people have said, just find some poor schmuck, stalk him, then svck all the crimson water from his body through his neck. Do this once everyday, and you will not only pass as mortal and therefore able to interact with them without arousing suspicion (buying/selling things) but you will also be a true Creature of the Night.

I've never gotten to stage 4, but I imagine you can sell your stuff to Babette. Especially with the Merchant perk. That is, is you don't ever plan to feed or go out in the sun.
