Can You Talk In Cut-Scenes?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 2:09 pm

Okay, what I'm talking about is when in a cut-scene is on can you actually decide what you wanna say?
or is it automatic?

(Please excuse my crappy reference to this game) Like when you play Dragon Age Origins 2, you can decide what to say like
- Yes We Shall Execute him tonight
- We Must Leave him to die
- Fine! We'll save 'em!!
Y'know? Or something like that, but if you cant wouldn't be kinda cool?
Like you yourself can decide where you want to story to turn and if you wanna be friends with your comrade or a annoyance like reality (not that I would like that choic)

It's automatic, hence why it is a cutscene. What you describe in games like DA and ME are not cutscenes.

I can tell you with 99% certainty that it's all "automatic." They're cut-scenes, not dialogue trees. Especially considering the cut-scenes supposedly going to double as loading screens (last I heard, which was a few months ago) it would be way too time consuming in a multi-player environment.

Although I don't have sufficient evidence I doubt that you can do this. I'm pretty sure it's automated. It would be kind of complicated if a bunch of players put different inputs at once. It would be cool to be able to choose what you say when you play though. But I'm sure if you could they would have announced it

They're automated; basically the "load-out" part of the game, giving players a chance to pick their body type, weapon sets, and starting class for that round. You can always switch weapons and class later, but you need to start later, amiright?

Your character will be seen in a "cut scene" a video clip containing a visual to the game. during this time you can re-do your characters and buy stuff. the "cut scenes" double as a loading screen so your not sitting their staring at blank loading screen but instead are enoying a visual that can help you.
