Can you unenchant a weapon?

So recently I acquired the Nightinggale bow and sword, but they have enchantments, so I can't use a specific shout with them, can I remove the enchantments, also can I not upgrde em' past flawless?

You can't unenchant a weapon and keep it.


For the upgrading part, your smithing skill needs to be high enough. Just reupgrade it at the grindstone.

You can disenchant items; but it destroys the item.

Your unique items, however, can't be disenchanted at all. If you want to use Elemental Rush, you need to use non-magical weapons.

For improvements: You either need to buff your smithing to 150 for Epic and 196 for Legendary, or take the perk that makes them 80 and 100, respectively.
