Can you upgrade or modify your Pipboy like other things?

I'd say you're right, as well. Implementing even a barebones scripting language would likely take time, and Bethesda probably wouldn't implement it because of the number of people that wouldn't use it. On the other hand, Bethesda might make it extremely in depth to give the game more exposure. That was one of the reasons Minecraft became so popular, after all.

IMO I believe they would have mentioned customizable pip-boy components along with the weapons and armor segments. But modders can probably whip up a gnarly pip-boy variant, maybe one with a hard light holographic display and built in stim pack administration with an advanced AI for hacking power armour subroutine's! I went a little overboard but you get my drift.

That's a possibility, but it seems like there was some complexity to it. They might give us some conditions to execute commands?

Thanks! I know of the creation kit, I just never really got around to looking at it.

I like the idea. Maybe there will be pip-boy perks (that unlock after you've acquired certain science perk pre-requisites) that will allow you to mess with it in some way.

The video kept mentioning they went "overboard". I think the settlement building will be pretty interesting with the wiring and the terminals connected to all the different things they control. If modders figure out how that works (and I'm sure they will) I can only imagine how that part of the game will expand.

Right? The crafting looks absolutely awesome, regardless.
