I think it would be cool if they had this tool in Brink like Uncharted2 being able to watch your last couple matches and edit them and post directly to youtube from game. Would be cool to see some the stuff people do especially in the first week or so.

This feature has been requested in CoD for years and only with Black Ops are they actually adding it. If you want to increase popularity of the game, this isnt a bad spot to start. I for one have had 2 insane throwing knife kills and 1 insane care package kill in MW2, all of which were Top 3 material because I acted so fast and awkwardly. I'm a total paranoid spas when it comes to gaming, which is why I'm so good at rushing. Plus I can read people's intentions by 1) where they are currently going and 2) where the fight is.

yes, you can record and watch replays on PC, not sure about consoles

No recording on PC would make no sense...

I'd love a feature like this. Being able to watch yourself land an awsome trick and showing it off to your friends could grip players even further. Recording bugs/cheaters would also help this game in the long run. Finally, being able to record gameplay makes reviewing, promoting, and learning tricks in the game that much easier. If anyone in the developing is reading this, please consider it.

It not for anything like that. I think it would be extremely useful clans to record their matches and see what they did and how they can improve.

I'd really like a simple recorder that let you control the camera and simple editing after the match is over allowing you to more or less create a gameplay video without much effort or external programs.
Because sometimes people are totally on a roll against a good team and want to record it.
maybe add a commentary option as well.

Recording would be nice. I wouldn't like it for Youtube kill montages though. it will drive people to only try for kills.

I think a Halo style replay system would be cool, I think it would ad to the unique characters, as another way to show them off, and also a way to just make some pretty awesome videos.

I mean it would be cool, but unless they already have it put into the game it would take too much time and effort to put it in now and i wouldnt want them to sacrifice anything else to add this feature, i know that Black ops will have the feature though, and it looks cool

That is why you add the capability for replays into your game.


Counter-Strike is 11 years old... and is still having high quality "frag" movies with high production value being spun out by the community.

Yes, It was about kill-cams, and They should totally not have them! I hate with a passion Kill-cams..lol
But yeah, They should have where you can look at the game you just played and post pictures and whatnot.
That's what they had in Halo 3 and it was pretty cool.

i think most people would agree to having this cuz what better then after having a great game seeing urself kick ass in a replay

There are a few main factors why they should implement this...


1. Raise skill level -- NOOB > NOVICE > VET / Go back, watch your demo.. see where you messed up or where you could have done better.
2. Strat building -- If you want this team to have any type of competitive life teams going back and finding a weakness in a team that doesn't change up often could be huge.. anti-stratting is boss
3. MOVIES MOVIES MOVIES -- I love watching frag movies with high production value.. given this engine and graphics.. combined with some solid editing.. some really awesome stuff could be made.
4. Build reputations -- Best heavy/light etc.. in the game? Post it and let the community tell you what they think.


These ideas aren't super well thought through but you get the general idea.
