oh if that's the case perhaps i should be as stoked to kill Yanks(like you) as you are to kill us, normally i don't care who the enemies you have to kill in a game, but your perspective has enlightened me, DEATH TO THE YANKS. (note this is sarcasim) another note i hate haters, don't post your comment if it's not constructive to critisize, encourage, add to, or other such things.

I'd like the entire cast of The Kids in the Hall doing voices for such a game. We already had Dave Foley in Fallout: New Vegas.

Oh, and the French-Canadian fur trappers from that one sketch should be in the game, as cannibals.

I don't think the country would be in any isolation. Everyone would be trying to move there; to escape whats back there. :ermm:

You could have a British ship trapped in the ice full of weapons to supply to Canadian resistance fighters, after all, Canada is part of the British Commonwealth.

Canada is boring as is, even more so after nukes go off. i mean honestly, most of their land mass is not even settled and even what is doesnt really compete with or effect the rest of the world and they are neutral in most conflicts.

Really, we have been in every conflict with peacekeeping soldiers. So I would not say that we are not neautral in most conflicts. We have a stance. Also how the world was 200 years ago in the FO Universe does not effect the present in FO Universe. The population could have grown, people could have moved north seeking refuge from the more destroyed America. All sorts of things could make Canada different or more action packed. But political standpoint in teh modern world have nothing to do with how well it would be in a game. In a fictional world.

well its canada in World war 2 when they were even smaller than modern times AND America annexed them and they were in the middle of an American vs China conflict. also "peace keeper forces" are generally a waste. UN peace keepers barely ever achieve anything other than keeping a small area secure where as individual nations such as China, Russia, or the USA get their goals accomplished and dont just keep one area but rather keep fighting until peace can be secured.

You're just bitter they didn't go down with you in Vietnam. Besides, Canada was in both World Wars and the first Gulf War, and have you seen the testing grounds at Calgary? I mean a lot of countries around the world like Sweden and Switzerland have never been in armed conflicts since the Napoleonic Wars but you would never doubt their military capacities in a defensive war.

Yes, in our universe, that is true. In the Fallout universe, the timeline split after WWII, so it is quite likely that Canada had massive population boom that continued rather than waned, more interest in weapons, and so on.

Let's pretend we keep the hot girls, amazing beer, and gorgeous landscapes, but there are way more military outposts (some hidden, some not), major investment in weapons development, and ... our version of a Pip-Boy that strongly resembles a Blackberry?

Yes Im glad I came accros the thread! Im from Canada Barrie Ontario exactly!

Alaska is where this should take place in a post apocolyptic Anchorage.

I can see the Enclave moving out to this remote place and trying to hold it against us Canadians. So many different ways this could happen and take place.

Image what Anchcorage in its post apocolypitic state, all decrepid and crumbling. Maybe the Enclave moved there because of the technology hidden in the Government bunkers. Maybe the NCR has invaded Canada and the people of Alaska turn to the Enclave for help, Because the Generals of the NCR army are corrupt and either putting people into work camps or forcing them to join the army. A revolt within the army could actually be a good story line in iteself. Especially if your sent from the Enclave to infiltrate the NCR. (Chinease Stealth Armor anyone?)

There are few people living close to Alaska. Maybe there is by the Alaska Panhandle. After a nuclear war there would be far less. Why would Enclave care about "Canadians" invading Alaska? In Fallout we are Americans.

You might need reading glasses my friend....

thought that was pretty clear.....

They could also be there because they were pushed out of the rest of the US, And maybe they're tired of running from the BOS and NCR so they claim Alaska for themselves.....like i also said

I don't need glasses. I just don't get you're idea. Bunkers I get yeah there could be some. Canadians in Fallout are American. After a nuclear war I doubt many Canadians would see themselves as American or Canadian just like many factions in FO3 don't see themselves as American. Enclave would just see any "Canadians" as American. There would not be that many Canadians living near Alaska or that many Americans for that matter. 90% of Canada's population lives close to the USA. After a Nuclear war there would be very little if anyone living near Alaska.

Also why the need to beat the dead horse that is the Enclave?

Because I dont think they should be a dead horse. Why kill something off that many people enjoy?

Story wise on the West Coast they are a dead horse. Enclave in the East maybe? sure. Having Enclave back as a power in the West even Alaska will just mess with everything Canon wise from FO2, FO3 and New Vegas.

ummm if look elsewhere than your indocternated history books you would see that Canada played crucial roles in both World War's and the Korean War. Another fact that you my not know is that for the World War's Canada fielded large armies from the population at the time, also the Neatherlands are eturnily indebted to us because we liberated them almost single handed from starvation, while the americans gunned for glory advancing toward the Rhine. In WW1 Canadians proved themselves as more than capable soldiers, in WW2 Canada proved itself as a capable independant army. Also in the Korean War a Canadian unit was honored by the American miltary for a heroic defense against overwheming Chinese opposition. many other Canadian military feats have been made throughout our history we my not be war hungry like the US but if we have to fight, WE'LL FIGHT
